i'm finding by the end of the week i don't have a whole heck of a lot to write about. i'm very impressed with all the bloggers who can keep it interesting. since i'm out of personal current events, here are three quick things about me:
1. i get out of bed at 6:50 and am backing down the driveway at 7:05. i am a well-oiled machine in the morning and heaven help you if you get in my way. i start work at 7:30 and am always in the parking lot early because i'm terrified of being late. that being said, i wait in my car until 7:28 before i head inside. i don't work for free.
2. my husband and i don't fold our laundry. we grab it out of laundry baskets and the dryer. as a result, i rarely wear socks that match. it is oddly liberating to not care. right now i'm wearing one danskin sock and one under armour and that's okay.
3. when i talk on the phone for a personal call, it is almost impossible for me to say good-bye first. to me it sounds unnatural and i always wait for the other person to wrap it up. on the rare occasion that i do say good-bye first, i'll say it again after they've said it. maybe i just like to get the last word in.
so that's me. and to you, i wish a wonderful weekend.
15 minutes to be ready and out the door? Dayummm.
ReplyDeleteThat would drive me nuts about the laundry though. Oh well, different strokes for different folks :)
Have an absolutely fantabulous weekend!
I'm struggling something fierce with the blogging content! I don't know how all these people with jobs blog! HOW?! HOW I SAY.
ReplyDeleteAhem. I'm like you, kind of, I get up at 6 am (I'd get up earlier if I did not live with IC) and could be out the door by 6:15 if I needed to be - I actually blog in the morning/do my own thing and leave the house at 7:30 - what can I say, I'm an early morning bird.
I love your getting ready routine. You sound like me. I work from home right now and wake up 5 minutes before I have to start work.
ReplyDeleteOh I am so jealous. I wish that I could get ready that fast!! I set my alarm for 5:30 and finally get out of bed at about 6, just in time to leave for 6:30.
