pinteresting: gardens of eden

over the weekend i planted seven flats of flowers in two days.  more on that tomorrow.  however, i've been in a gardening state of mind recently.  i've even watered my plants two days in a row after work.  this is unheard of.  i plugged 'garden' into pinterest and i found lauren at garden accoutrements.  all pins were found via pinterest via lauren.  this tickles me because linking back to pins is a time consuming endeavor.  so, please join me as i hook up with michelle for:

don't those images make you want to run to the nearest nursery and get cracking on your summer garden?  stunning.  i learned that i really like purple as i look back at my pins.  my flowers look nothing like this.  i didn't want to instill false hope regarding my post for tomorrow.  just remember when you look at my flowers:

  2. This makes me want to garden so badly! I think I'm going to get one of those boxes that you can put herbs in for on our deck.

  3. i love looking at inspiring outdoor spaces on pinterest. my backyard is so big and we started with crap that its taking a long time to get it how we want it. esp since i refuse to use chemicals to treat the weeds!

  5. Beautiful gardens! I always think this year is going to be the year I get my yard in tip top shape, but I always seem to get distracted by other things on the weekend. Some day!

  6. Great pins!! i've been need some inspiration since we are re-doing our landscaping. I love purple flowers too! They attract butterflies and hummingbirds so I'm not sure you can go wrong. I love the last pin, that should be hung on my patio area somewhere lol! Although, I'm not that bad at gardening..it's just funny :)
